With single online lovers (or partners that are separated) I do not believe that cyber sex is dangerous. It is a very intimate way to communicate and love each other when you are apart. However, we read all the time that thousands, if not millions, of on-line sexual predators and/or addicts looking for new and more daring erotic adventures turn to cyber sex.

Basically, cybersex has no boundaries and every sexual fantasy you have ever had, or hadn't even thought of, can be had. Even some fantasizes you may not have thought of, depending on the person you hook up with, may be fulfilled and more.

If it is with someone you don't know, and have no idea of their age or if they are male or female, you can feel pretty awful after the fact if you find out what they told you is not the truth. Actually, you can feel pretty awful after the fact period. The other part of this, which will be discussed in another article, is when a cybersex lover arranges to meet you off-line.

What If I Want To Participate in Cybersex?

If you do, trusting the person you are going to engage in cyber sex with is critical before you can successfully explore the possibilities of cybersex, unless you are prepared to just (excuse me) get off and not care how or who it is with. If you do not care if 'love' is involved and it is only 'lust' then make sure:

They are male or female, depending on what you want They are over the age of majority. Do everything you can to ensure this or you could, and will be charged. If you are unsure do not do it! They are not doing this without the knowledge of a partner/spouse (if there is one) as this can cause major problems at the time and certainly in the future.

Relationship At Home & Cybersex

How can you integrate cyber sex relationships into a real life sexual experience with you and your spouse/partner? If you are doing this and not prepared to tell your spouse/partner then you have to admit that something is very wrong in the relationship. If you do decide to tell be prepared for the break-up and break-down of your relationship. On the other hand, it may surprise you to find out that your spouse/partner is doing the same thing you are. Be prepared to handle both outcomes.
